REWORK THE WORLD

Rework the world

Leksand, Sweden witnessed a global attention between the 2nd and 6th of June when social entrepreneurs, politicians, youth leaders, think tanks from all over the world gathered to both reflect, discuss and develop ideas to create a more sustainable future.

I was privileged to be amongst these 1700 participants from 140 Nations attending the event.

For me it was a complete life changer, thanks to my sponsor and mentor Henrik Ahlen the business developer and founder of Alfa bravo, and of course the Swedish Embassy in Nigeria who thought it fit to grant me a Visa without which I would not have been able to witness this event.

The talks, the classes, workshops, the connections, the environment, the people! What an experience! As I sit in the corner of my living room in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria I can’t help but reminisce on the thought provoking presentations and the fresh thinking coming from panellists and various resource persons at the conference.

With so much to learn, for me I could easily say that I have been refreshed to do a whole lot more than I have ever done and could ever imagine. I see that a lot of opportunities abound and it is possible to do the impossible. Now I can think more globally and effectively act locally.

At this great event I was able to record a one hour documentary “what the world knows about Nigeria” my home country. I hope to share this with you soon. Never have I been in such a gathering with over 1700 progressive thinkers- I will no doubt continue to appreciate my participation at this event.

A big thank you to YES Inc, Tallberg Foundation and of course the Swedish Government for this great venture and initiative.

Yes I have been reworked to rework the world, the follow up action starts now- Be on the look out!
